Residential Renovation Project
Full interior design & project coordination.
A considered renovation balancing function, flow, and long-term liveability.
This full residential renovation focused on reworking the layout, improving flow between spaces, and creating a cohesive interior that felt both practical and calm. My role covered the full interior design process, from early concept development through to detailed design decisions and on-site coordination.
The Brief
- Improve the overall layout and flow of the main living areas
- Create a timeless interior that would age well
- Balance comfort with a refined, considered aesthetic
- Coordinate finishes, lighting, and furnishings across multiple rooms
My Approach
- Developed a cohesive design direction to run throughout the property
- Focused on layout planning and spatial balance before aesthetic decisions
- Layered lighting to support both practical use and atmosphere
- Selected finishes and materials with longevity and ease of maintenance in mind
- Worked closely with trades to ensure design intent was carried through on site

Key Design Decisions
- Custom joinery to improve storage and visual balance
- A restrained, neutral palette layered with texture
- Thoughtful lighting placement to define zones within open-plan areas
- Furniture and styling choices that support everyday living
The completed renovation resulted in a home that feels cohesive, calm, and functional, with each space working both independently and as part of a wider whole. The design supports day-to-day living while retaining a sense of refinement and longevity.
